Idaho District Courts

Idaho’s District Courts are the primary trial courts for more serious legal matters. These courts handle a wide range of cases, including major criminal offenses, civil disputes involving larger sums of money, and appeals from the Magistrate Courts. Idaho is divided into seven judicial districts, each served by multiple district judges who are elected by the voters for four year terms.
